Accuracy

Corrections policy.

Public cybersecurity content should be correctable. Material factual errors are fixed, review dates are updated when appropriate, and significant corrections should not be hidden behind cosmetic edits.

What counts as material

A factual error that changes the meaning of a security recommendation. An incorrect description of a Cybatar capability.A source attribution that materially misrepresents the cited guidance.A claim that should have been qualified or bounded more clearly.

What does not normally require a correction note

Spelling, grammar or formatting fixes.Minor link maintenance that does not change the substance.Clarity edits that preserve the original factual meaning.
Process

How material corrections are handled.

01

Verify

Check the claim against the relevant source or product evidence.

02

Correct

Update the page so the public statement is accurate and properly bounded.

03

Review

Check surrounding content for the same issue or an inconsistent derivative claim.

04

Date

Update the last-reviewed date when the correction represents a substantive review.
