AccuracyCorrections policy.
Public cybersecurity content should be correctable. Material factual errors are fixed, review dates are updated when appropriate, and significant corrections should not be hidden behind cosmetic edits.
What counts as material
A factual error that changes the meaning of a security recommendation.An incorrect description of a Cybatar capability.A source attribution that materially misrepresents the cited guidance.A claim that should have been qualified or bounded more clearly.
What does not normally require a correction note
Spelling, grammar or formatting fixes.Minor link maintenance that does not change the substance.Clarity edits that preserve the original factual meaning.
Process
How material corrections are handled.

Verify
Check the claim against the relevant source or product evidence.

Correct
Update the page so the public statement is accurate and properly bounded.

Review
Check surrounding content for the same issue or an inconsistent derivative claim.
04
Date
Update the last-reviewed date when the correction represents a substantive review.
